IBlazeFollowEntitiesManager

Manager for follow entities state and operations. It maintains the current set of follow entities and notifies a delegate of user actions.

Follow state is persisted locally by the SDK automatically (including for anonymous viewers, and offline), and synced across the viewer's devices once activity sync is enabled and the viewer is identified — see Follow entities for the persistence and sync model. The methods below are for apps that want to seed from their own backend, mirror state in their own UI, or manage follow state independent of Blaze's sync.

Methods

setFollowedEntities

Sets the entire set of follow entities, replacing any existing ones.

  • followedEntities - The new set of follow entities to set.
fun setFollowedEntities(followedEntities: Set<BlazeFollowEntity>)

❗️Replaces all existing entities — locally and, once synced, for the viewer across every device, latest-wins. It will silently erase a follow made moments earlier on another device if that entity isn't included in the set you pass. Use insertFollowedEntities / removeFollowedEntities for incremental updates that preserve state written from other devices; reach for setFollowedEntities only when you deliberately mean "this is the complete, correct list."

getFollowedEntities

Retrieves the current set of follow entities.

  • Returns the current set of follow entities.
fun getFollowedEntities(): Set<BlazeFollowEntity>

insertFollowedEntities

Inserts new follow entities into the current set.

  • followedEntities - The set of follow entities to insert.
fun insertFollowedEntities(followedEntities: Set<BlazeFollowEntity>)

removeFollowedEntities

Removes specified follow entities from the current set.

  • followedEntities - The set of follow entities to remove.
fun removeFollowedEntities(followedEntities: Set<BlazeFollowEntity>)
