Content types
Experiences supports different content types: Stories, Moments, and Videos (on-demand and streaming), as described in the sections that follow.
Live streaming is delivered as a Video rather than as a separate content type.
Stories
Stories are multi-page experiences. Each page is one screen in the Experiences player.
Use Stories when you want:
- Narrative flow: turn live or archived clips into a structured sequence that plays page to page.
- Clip selection: build from your library or live Moments. Use filters such as player, team, or play to find clips faster.
- Branding and audio: combine clips, branding elements, and audio in a mobile-friendly sequence.
- Interactivity: add polls, quizzes, or calls to action that guide viewers to your app, tickets, or merchandise.
For CTAs, polls, and quizzes on Stories, see Viewer engagement (buttons and interactions).
Moments
Moments are short-form video items. They are typically mobile-first and most often viewed in a vertical format.
Use Moments when you want:
- Quick highlights: publish fast updates such as key plays or post-match clips.
- Short-form presentation: single items that do not need a multi-page flow.
- Branded overlays and CTAs: add branded layers and CTA buttons (for example, Watch more prompts). Moments do not support polls or quizzes.
- Auto-created vertical clips: add graphic layers tied to live stats for short 9:16 Moments.
- Fast publishing: schedule Moments or make them available around key plays and post-match highlights.

- Moments tabs: fullscreen multi-feed Moments player
- Follow button for Moments: in-player follow for explicit personalization
- Widgets: preview Moments before the player opens
- Viewer engagement (buttons and interactions): CTAs on Moments (polls and quizzes aren't supported)
Videos
Videos are long-form content that can play in vertical and horizontal formats. On orientation change, Experiences can adjust to a best-fit aspect ratio. See Videos - multi-aspect ratio support.
Videos covers on-demand video and streaming video. For delivery details, see Delivering Videos.
On-demand video
On-demand video is finished content that viewers can watch at any time, such as recorded clips, replays, and archive footage. It stays available until you unpublish it.
Use on-demand video when you want:
- A catalog: a library viewers can browse and return to.
- Replays and highlights: full-length or edited versions of an event after it ends.
- Long-form storytelling: documentaries, interviews, and features.
Live streaming (Streams)
A stream is a single live event, such as a match, a session, or a press conference, delivered as live video. A stream is a Video that carries stream metadata and a stream state (upcoming, live, or ended).
Streams reach your app through a Videos widget or the Videos player, so you can combine them with on-demand video in one widget or segregate them into a streams-only widget, such as a Live now row.
CMS segregates streams into a Streams tab, but that is a CMS-only distinction. In your app, streams arrive as Videos.
For the stream lifecycle, CMS tabs, and the stream filters on your platform, see Live streaming.
