Story player

The story player is a custom media player provided by the SDK that opens up once a story item is selected from a widget, and plays the story.

The story player can be customized using the BlazeStoryAppearance on the global Blaze setStoryAppearance method.

iPhone Player Behavior

Portrait Mode Only

The player within the application on iPhone is optimized exclusively for portrait orientation. This design choice ensures a focused and user-friendly viewing experience in line with the common usage habits on iPhones. The landscape mode is intentionally disabled for the player to preserve the interface's visual and functional integrity.

iPad Player Behavior

Full Orientation Flexibility

The player on the iPad fully supports orientation changes, accommodating both portrait and landscape modes. This flexibility enhances the viewing experience on the iPad, adapting to the versatile ways in which these devices are used. When the orientation is changed, the player seamlessly adjusts, continuing playback from the same position without any disruption. This feature ensures that whether the user switches from portrait to landscape orientation or vice versa, their viewing experience remains continuous and uninterrupted.
